Hi, I'm Ted, nice to meet you :)

I’m a product designer currently living in New York City. I was born and raised in Daegu, South Korea and am currently studying Interaction Design MFA at the School of Visual Arts.

I specialize in transforming complex challenges into intuitive, simple, and strategic design solutions based on a human-centered approach.

I have worked as a product designer at a healthcare startup and continue to develop collaborative skills with front-end, back-end developers, business managers, and other designers to create new products.

In addition to UX design, I have a strong passion for graphic and motion design. I’m currently in charge of graphic design for workshops as a Graphic Design Assistant in the MFA Interaction Design at SVA. My firm understanding of typography hierarchy and natural sense of color & layout allows me to create unique and solid visuals that differentiate me from other UX designers.

Outside of work

Morning coffee person

I love drinking coffee in the morning. My favorite coffee shop is Starbucks. I often use the Starbucks App to order coffee before classes.

Drawing with iPad

I enjoy drawing with my iPad. I create illustrations and sketch in a quiet coffee shop in my free time.

Visiting art galleries

I love examining historical masterpieces and sculptures. I visit art galleries alone where I spend many hours appreciating them without disturbance.
